Musical instruments, animal bells and other sound tools of the collection of musical instruments conserved at the Reiss-Engelhorn-Museen, Mannheim. Among the objects recorded are about 450 pre-Hispanic musical instruments from Mesoamerica and Southamerica (Freudenberg collection of musical instruments).

Ceramic Flutes of Northeast Honduras from the Moyne-Feachem collection at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, University of Cambridge.

Replications of prehispanic sound artefacts. Some tracks are posted at Gruseltöne aus der Chaoskammer (a horrible interpretation of my results on noise whistles).

Aztec and Moche sound artefacts in the Ethnological Museum Berlin. In collaboration with Friedemann Schmidt. The recordings are preserved in the Berlin Phonogram Archive.

2001-2004
Aztec sound artefacts at the Museo del Templo Mayor and the Museo Nacional de Antropología, Mexico-City. In collaboration with TRIBU (Agustín Pimentel, Alejandro Méndez, David Méndez, Ramiro Ramírez). A mix of some tracks is posted at the ISGMA recording pages. They were recorded in 2002 and 2003 by A. A. Both & Tribu at the Auditorio Eduardo Matos Moctezuma, Museo del Templo Mayor, and mixed in 2003 by Both & L. M. Sánchez Martínez at Sinuhes’ Pythagoras, Mexico-City.
